I've said this before, and I'll say it again. The mission with every bit of content that's published here is to help you, inspire you and push you toward living your best life. Recently, I decided to spend some extra time on sharing more health and wellness content. Part of that is sharing recipes with you that I've tried and can honestly say are yummy, easy and healthy. The three I am sharing this week are all Whole30 compliant- so no grain, alcohol, added sugar, dairy or legumes.
I've shared this recipe before, but I just can't get enough of it. It's ridiculously easy and unbelievably delicious. Every friend I have recommended it to has loved it, and it's every single thing. Don't be spooked by the use of coconut milk (I was the first time); you don't taste it. I personally add some compliant (I use Frank's) hot sauce to add some extra spice. It's hearty, comforting and super tasty.
This hash is definitely what I would call non-traditional when it comes to breakfast options. I think it's great for anyone who doesn't like, or is just tired of, eggs. It's certainly filling and has both protein and healthy fat. The recipe calls for apples and cinnamon, so there's that sweet taste combined with the savory flavors of the ground beef and other spices. Mine also came out a bit spicy, which I really liked!
This meal tastes shockingly similar to Chinese take-out, and I was so impressed. Now, I was not doing a round of Whole30 when I made this, and I couldn't find my coconut aminos so I used soy sauce. It's flavorful, moist (especially because of the sauce) and the chicken is tender because you marinate it.
